Introduction: Hi I am Rijay. I am 24 yrs. old and was found to be autistic from my childhood. I am high functioning, good in English, studied upto school finals and now in Kalakshetra Foundation Fine Arts College, (Madras). I am in the Final year of 4 years course of Diploma of Fine Arts, learning painting and drawing. I specialize, among other things, in still life, landscapes, waterscapes, waterfalls and sculptures in watercolours. My strength lies in a strong mix of colours and a subtle expression of human lives. I know swimming, type writing and computers, data entry and am self sufficient. Like many high functioning autistic persons, I do have deficiencies in social interaction, inability to express thoughts in a cogent and continuous manner and am slow in conversation and expressions. I have good rapport with my teachers, am liked by my peer group and I am very friendly. Achievements: I have already participated in a couple of exhibitions in India as well as U.S.A with wide acclaim from the press and connoisseurs of art. Requirement: I urgently need a placement in life and thereby have identity of my own. Now I want to work and settle in life in the area of painting and drawing. I am looking for suitable sponsors, institutions and individuals to exhibit my paintings and buyers as well. I need good hearted souls in this direction.
